About the Product:
GC48 is typically used as an industrial and enterprise grade roof mount for IBC donor antennas, LPS air terminals, PTP/PTMP radios, FWA/GWA subscribers, and many more. The centre mounting pole has a 48 mm outer diamter (40NB steel pipe), suiting most RF and antenna systems.
Installation of the tin roof design uses the existing roof screw holes. Screws are removed, the three foot plates and two stay bars positioned, and screws are weatherproofed and replaced.
Product Features:
- The collared design incorporates two sliding collars, allowing stay bars to be attached to the centre mast, locked into place with M10 bolts
- Designed for operation in even the most extreme environments, this mast has three large footplates designed to secure in place using 6 to 12 roof screws.
- The footplate has a hinged design allowing pitch compensation for standard corrugated iron and tin roofs.
- 48mm galvanised steel roof poles are available for a low deflection mounting platform that ensures your RF system resists even the most intense of weather conditions.
In addition to the standard 2.0-metre roof mast, a 3.0-metre variation is available which uses a 42mm OD (32NB) 1.0 metre extension to the 2.0 metre mast.

The Hinged Mast:
- Top section hinges down to allow the installer to adjust the alignment of the equipment.
The Tile Roof Mast:
- Supplied with mounting plates for attachment to rafters of a tiled roof.

The Hills FB607042A Flexi Mount Tin Roof Heavy Duty is a Foxtel approved 65 cm and 80 cm antenna dish mount for tin roof applications with timber framed roof structures. It can also be used in NBN fixed wireless applications with W55 wind-load regions A/B. For C/D regions it is mandatory to fit either a FB607226 or FB607150A to increase the wind loading to W60.
It can be used for mounting point-to-point dishes and wireless antennas in domestic and commercial applications. A galvanised steel extension piece can be added to provide additional antenna height.
Wind Classification: C3 (W60) with 65 cm dish C2.5 (W55) with 80 cm dish Triangular design for minimum penetrations on a tin roof.

GM48W is a subseries of APAC’s GC48 mast system, staybars can be added to increase stability. This subseries is designed for wall mounting and uses two stainless steel stand-off mounts to attach to the wall. The bottom stand-off mount acts as a hinge, allowing equipment to be serviced safely, and the top mount is used to lock and secure the centre pole in place.
With its 48 mm diameter pole, the GM48W wall mounted mast is ideal for installing equipment parallel to a vertical surface. The stand-off mounts provide a horizontal offset to prevent the pole obstructing the roof guttering.
The standard horizontal offset is 200 mm, but can be customised to your desired dimension.
